Infrastructure Architect

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience with Cloud infrastructure design, network architecture design and implementation, Kubernetes, Cloud security or logging and monitoring.
  • 3 years of experience in client-facing roles, troubleshooting technical issues and working with engineering, business teams or customers.
  • Experience with two or more disciplines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) such as Google Kubernetes Engine and Google Cloud VMware Engine migration, network design, data migration strategies, Virtual Machine migration to Google Compute Engine.
  • Experience in setting up Google Cloud foundations with networking and security setup.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in setting up end-to-end Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Ability to work in a changing and collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and consulting skills.

In this role, you will assume the responsibility of assisting customers in establishing secure foundations and designing available, low latency, performing, and secure infrastructure solutions on the Google Cloud Platform. You will collaborate on customer’s infrastructure and data migrations, as well as modernization projects, while resolving any potential platform or product tests. You will possess an understanding of Google Cloud infrastructure products and associated security controls. You will be tasked with traveling to customer sites to deploy solutions and facilitate workshops aimed at educating and empowering customers. You will maintain a relationship with product management and product engineering teams, with the goal of driving excellence within the product offerings.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities

  • Engage in effort with stakeholders to interpret client requirements, providing recommendations for solution architectures, and offering consultative services.
  • Collaborate with customer technical leads, client managers, and partners to plan and execute cloud migration projects, promote trust and become an advisor to decision-makers throughout the engagement.
  • Work with Google Google Cloud Platform (GCP) specialists, product development teams, and engineering divisions to consolidate best practices and insights into solutions and accessible assets.
  • Engage with Google Cloud business representatives, partners, and customer technical stakeholders to oversee the management of migration scope, priorities, deliverables, risks/issues, and timelines for migrations.
  • Provide solutions and execute the deployment of cloud-based distributed infrastructure solutions in accordance with customer requirements and industry best practices for implementation.
