Product Manager, Android Large Screen Experiences

  • 3 years of experience in product management driving product ideas, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.
  • Experience creating product roadmaps and working with cross-functional and cross-organizational teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience developing/launching developer-facing products/technologies within Android.
  • Experience in optimizing application performance and compatibility.
  • Knowledge of user experience design principles for large screen devices.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The team's mission is to extend Android's capabilities to create system interactions and enable fluid and intuitive app and System UI experiences tailored for Android Large Screen devices.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement Android Large screen system experiences in partnership with Android stakeholders to influence the broader Android ecosystem.
  • Reimagine interaction paradigms for windowing, mouse, keyboard, and trackpad input to maximize the use of large screen real estate.
  • Ensure smooth app performance through UX/Platform enhancements and necessary optimizations.
  • Work across cross-functional and cross-stakeholder teams to align on features, implementation approach, and timelines, and oversee features to launch.
  • Contribute to the broader Android System UI and strategy for Android Large Screen devices.
