About the job

As a Creative in Marketing, you bring visual, design, written and experiential acumen to Google products and services, presented across all major media, content, channels, and experiences. You have the ability to perform your role in a flexible, ever-changing environment and must be open to new influences and inspiration. You will work with a deeply cross-functional team and inspire a team of vendor partners by sharing ideas and developing effective solutions to generate multiple concepts supporting all forms of major media. You will be equally comfortable making; rolling up your sleeves and designing, mocking, writing, or prototyping; showing, not telling. Above all, you will inspire and lead by example by making the most of every opportunity to develop breakthrough creative, consistent with the Google Marketing brand, and be able to take and provide clear direction and creative feedback that pushes work forward.

In this role, you will lead the creative expression of Google Cloud across the Asia Pacific and Japan region. You are a master storyteller who can speak to a various spectrum of audiences from C-suite business leaders and IT decision makers to represent developers and understand the varying needs of enterprise and startup clients. You possess a deep, relentless curiosity about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the shifting business landscape. You will operate as an independent creative channel, capable of seeing the strategic view one moment and rolling up your sleeves to write scripts, direct edits, or produce assets the next.

Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.

Responsibilities

  • Define JAPAC’s creative standard and elevate brand stewardship by translating complex technical objectives into compelling storytelling that delivers tangible business results with a distinct spark of Google magic.
  • Engage audiences from C-suite BDMs to technical developers by applying narrative depth and leveraging rich regional experience to adapt global strategies successfully for local market cultural relevance.
  • Operate as a hybrid creative channel, seamlessly shifting between high-level strategic agency management and represent execution to personally write, direct, and produce high-quality creative campaign assets.
  • Partner collaboratively across Product, Sales, and Engineering silos to align creative output with the Cloud business landscape, ensure every campaign is strategically sound and drives measurable impact.
  • Pioneer the integration of Generative AI into workflows, explore how tools can enhance creativity, accelerate production speed, and personalize experiences to set new benchmarks for team innovation.
