  • Experience with audits and controls governance.
  • Experience with compliance such as technology risk, regulatory and non-regulatory framework (e.g., NIST, ISO, PCI (Payment Card Industry) SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) ITGC (Information Technology General Controls), DSS (Data Security Standard), SOC, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in information governance, information lifecycle management, compliance, legal, privacy, information security, or related areas.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify and enhance key controls, assess their maturity, and define measurement requirements for continuous monitoring.
  • Identify and educate control owners on governance requirements, onboard new controls onto internal systems, and collaborate with compliance product teams to automate manual processes.
  • Partner with compliance program teams to prepare for upcoming certifications, audits, and customer requests (RFIs), and lead the execution of a controls testing program by validating controls and scoping them for testing with partner teams.
  • Manage a portfolio of projects, driving multi-quarter roadmaps from initiation to planning and execution, while anticipating issues and resolving them using technical and product knowledge.
  • Coordinate projects across cross-functional teams and manage communications across a network of executive stakeholders, including developing team newsletters and program status updates.
