Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical technical experience.
- 5 years of experience in JavaScript, Python, and SQL.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with any of these: BigQuery, Business Intelligence Tools, Business Data Visualization.
- Experience with story telling with data or online content production (technical blog posts, videos etc).
- Ability to contribute to open source projects.
- Ability to do public speaking or present to large audiences on technical topics.
- Ability to be an active contributor to online technology communities (e.g., Stack Overflow).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Part community manager and part developer advocate, Developer Relations Engineers collaborate with developers at conferences and online, and advocate for developers interests internally at Google. Not afraid to be hands-on, you write sample code and client libraries as well as participate in developer forums and support queues to troubleshoot and debug coding problems developers encounter. Internally, you work with product engineering teams to improve our products by conveying feedback from developers, reviewing API designs, and testing new features. - Focus on Google Cloud's Business Intelligence applications including Looker and Conversational Analytics.
- Work with Engineering, Product Management (PM), Outbound Product Management (OPM), Customer Engineering (CE), and Marketing teams to identify exciting developer use cases and advocate for external developer requirements.
- Build public content (videos, articles, demos, codelabs etc.) for external developers and users.
- Engage with external developers in live events (e.g., Google Cloud NEXT) and public forums including Cloud Community website, Github etc.
- Collaborate with team members to build maintain open source developer tools for the product.
