Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Product Management, driving product roadmaps from conception to launch and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience solving problems, with an ability to deliver outcomes and drive impact.
  • Experience crafting the product goals, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.
  • Ability to be goal orientated, data driven with a well developed sense of curiosity.

Our team works closely with creative developers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

Ads Safety protects users from bad ads experiences every day. These bad ads include fraudulent, scammy, illegal, malicious, policy-violating, and offensive experiences. Google serves many ad impressions per year, so Ads Safety has a large impact on the well-being of users and society, and their trust in Google’s business. We work closely with teams in Trust and Safety, Public Policy, Legal, Sales, Advertiser Platform, Payments and other groups across Ads and Google to ensure a great ads experience for our users.

Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the best technology that connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google. We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Own outcomes and drive impact across the full product development cycle. This includes creating artifacts and Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), driving feature prioritization with developing, managing trade-offs, and resolving cross-functional issues.
  • Help solve problems related to payment fraud and intentional delinquency.
  • Deliver a compelling roadmap and goal for your designated area of payments risk. Define and launch solutions, synthesizing insights from user needs, market trends, and technical capabilities to build a clear path to success.
  • Build consensus within your product area and influence partner teams including Account and Device Intelligence team, Advertiser Platform (AP), and Payments to marshal resources and ensure alignment.
  • Contribute to the holistic Ads Safety strategy by providing deep insights into the payments risk landscape, our users, and the engaged environment.
