Analytical Lead, Go-To-Market Business Strategy Operations

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in strategy consulting, business analysis, product strategy, or similar roles.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, SQL and data analysis, and the ability to translate data into business insights.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, manage projects, and build cross-functional relationships.
  • Interest in business strategy, governance, and the key elements of organizations.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GTM) team ensures that Google's evolving ads business runs smoothly. The team sets the go-to-market strategy and guides execution and operations against the strategy. In this role, you will be focused on aligning the company priorities with day-to-day operations, while also helping to evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data to support projects focused on improving processes, governance structures, and performance management systems.
  • Own full components of analytics (business growth potential, headcount etc.) with limited guidance, ensuring insights are delivered on time and meet defined goals.
  • Develop and deliver compelling reports and presentations that communicate progress, findings, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and solve problems, and demonstrate creative thinking and propose innovative solutions.
  • Build partnerships across diverse teams (e.g., local, regional, and global), embodying a One Google mindset to achieve shared objectives.
