Global Client Lead, Global Client and Agency Solutions

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting, or media.
  • Experience with Search, YouTube or Google Marketing Platform.
  • Experience in making presentations to C-level/executive audiences.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in project management.
  • Experience in, and successful record of business development and business leadership.
  • Experience in people management with leading, coaching and developing teams.
  • Understanding customer business objectives with the industry's issues, goals for growth, and commitment to advancing Google's strategies within the marketplace.
  • Ability to develop joint business plans in an ambiguous environment and effectively grow relationships and deepen partnerships.

Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

The Global Client Lead is a collaborative role within Global Client and Agency Solutions (GCAS) that oversees the team that drives our global partnership with our clients. In this role, you will be able to develop objectives while helping others understand the wider context to enable robust, customer focused problem solving cross-functionally and with senior leaders.

You will have the ability to align priorities to organizational goals, balancing short-term results with long-term planning. You will be comfortable adapting to ambiguity and can help others navigate through complexity to deliver value at scale. You will be a people manager, setting clear expectations, investing in the team’s development, creating psychological safety on the team and role modeling Google’s values to help them grow.

At its core, Global Clients and Agency Solutions (GCAS) helps leading brands, trade bodies and marketing partners navigate this complexity so that they can continue to be the market makers who positively shape our industry. Everyday, we help our partners fully utilize Google’s products, talent and insights to advance their marketing performance and the advertising ecosystem at large. Whether through building stronger tech and media foundations, surfacing cutting edge insights or structuring industry dialogue, GCAS helps shape what’s next into now.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $195,000-$275,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Account Executives, set and communicate team priorities and make decisions and support activities that align with Google’s values.
  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and senior partner stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.
  • Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products, solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Build an in-depth knowledge of how Google advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
