Analytical Lead, Media and Entertainment

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience using Google's measurement suite products, website analytics platforms (Google Analytics) and brand analysis techniques.
  • Experience using SQL to extract and manipulate data, or with other programming or scripting languages such as R, Python.
  • Experience with marketing analytics, return on investment/financial modeling, and statistical analysis.
  • Experience in measurements such as Incremental lift, Brand lift, Attribution, A/B testing, Marketing Mix Models and campaign studies.
  • Knowledge of the advertising landscape, media channels, and methods of buying.
  • Ability to analyze datasets and translate them to insights.

As an Analytical Lead, you will be responsible for measurement solution design and providing data-driven sales recommendations aligned with the customer's marketing objectives. You will drive executive influence by articulating the business value of testing and coordinate the efforts of external and internal resources to accelerate usage of recommended measurement techniques to drive better media outcomes.

We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $101,000-$147,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Engage in strategic partnerships with customers to define their measurement strategy, and collaboratively establish a roadmap to guide its execution.
  • Integrate measurement outputs in effectiveness measurements such as Incremental lift, Brand lift, Attribution, A/B testing, Marketing Mix Models and bespoke campaign effectiveness studies.
  • Consult with clients on opportunities associated with business patterns and potential business impact.
  • Advise clients on methodologies for marketing and media analytics, measurement, attribution, and experiments, and help customers navigate industry standards and alternatives.
  • Identify key decision makers, challenge the status quo and influence decisions, foster client relationships with others in the organization including marketing/advertising, analytics, and corporate strategy.
