  • 4 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
  • 2 years of experience as a management consultant or investment banking.
  • Experience as a founder.

About the job

The YouTube Main App team is responsible for the core viewer experience for YouTube spanning across Android, iOS, and web. It’s where billions of viewers visit every day to be entertained, learn a new skill, feel connected, be better informed, and pursue a multitude of interests and goals. Main App supports the majority of YouTube's watchtime, revenue, and viewer engagement. The Main App Product Management (PM) team drives the design of this viewer experience and are advocates for the viewer.

In this role, you will lead the charge for YouTube Everywhere. You will define how YouTube lives beyond its own apps driving the strategy for web, mobile web, and the embedded player both across all Google products and key global partners.

You will be a part of the reason Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management (PM). You will work with creative engineers, designers, marketers, and more to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. You will be responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $192,000-$278,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead the product goal and roadmap for the YouTube Embedded Player and Web surfaces, ensuring a premium, consistent viewer experience across all Google products.
  • Drive the end-to-end development of YouTube integrations on nascent devices and technologies, transitioning experimental "first-of-kind" concepts into scalable, viewer products.
  • Act as the primary product lead for complex collaborations with internal Google teams and external industry leaders to co-create holistic integrations that expand YouTube’s reach while protecting brand and User Experience (UX) integrity.
  • Balance a threefold mandate to maximize viewer engagement, extend the reach of the Main App to new audiences, and drive sustainable value for YouTube’s broader creator and advertiser ecosystem.
  • Navigate high-stakes trade-offs by aligning senior stakeholders across Engineering, Design, and Business Development, serving as a advocate for the viewer while solving for fragmented technical and platform constraints.
