Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in consulting/program management with a focus on discovery support.
Preferred qualifications:
- Program/Project Management certification.
- Experience working with relational databases, as well as using business intelligence tools or dashboarding tools to track and report on metrics.
- Ability to effectively manage complexity and multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to navigate and operate within electronic discovery (ediscovery) document review platforms.
- Ability to make connections, with effective business acumen and strategic thinking.
- Excellent entrepreneurial and problem solving skills.
About the job
On the discovery program management team, we serve as solutions consultants supporting the end-to-end discovery life-cycle for Google's legal matters. We apply project management best practices and principles to the legal discovery process. We leverage our technical expertise and industry knowledge to manage cutting-edge challenges and drive impactful change on a global scale. We are technical liaisons who assist with the development and deployment of custom solutions, and we own process improvement initiatives designed to fuel organizational efficiency and velocity.Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Responsibilities
- Coordinate activities between in-house counsel, outside counsel, and the discovery operations team in order to help manage the data preservation, collection, processing, hosting, and production processes.
- Drive metrics and tracking initiatives to assist in the development of stakeholder reporting workflows.
- Pioneer the testing and deployment of new technology to assist in day-to-day operations.
- Support the continuous improvement of discovery workflows and processes.
- Provide project and program management support for key discovery workflows on a variety of matters, including patent and general litigation, internal and regulatory investigations, as well as competition matters.
