About the job
Be part of a team that pushes boundaries, developing custom silicon solutions that power the future of Google's direct-to-consumer products. You'll contribute to the innovation behind products loved by millions worldwide. Your expertise will shape the next generation of hardware experiences, delivering unparalleled performance, efficiency, and integration.
As a part of the Display Applications Developing team, you will serve as the critical bridge between Research and Development (R&D) and commercial reality. You will function as a strategic lead operating globally to secure critical design and manufacturing ramps for Tier-1 consumer electronics leaders. Your mission is to lower the barrier to entry for technology, transforming next-gen display silicon into market-ready solutions. You will build development platforms, from advanced hardware drivers to automated internal software tools, solve critical integration issues in display image quality, power, and thermal management. You will go beyond traditional support and design the ecosystem that makes display innovations easier to integrate, faster to adopt, and impossible to ignore.
As a Display Applications Developer, you will design the reference hardware and software ecosystems that drive the adoption of our advanced display silicon. You will own the complete hardware development life cycle for display development platforms—from defining functional requirements and schematic design to board bring-up and comprehensive signal/power integrity analysis.
You will act as a lead for the global developing team, by bridging the gap between silicon R&D and commercial integration. You will ensure our display technology is not only high-performing but also easy to implement for our partners.
