Technical Curriculum Developer III, AI/ML, Cloud Learning

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Information Architecture.
  • 4 years of experience in Machine Learning or related discipline.
  • 2 years of experience with cloud computing technologies.
  • 2 years of experience as a technical instructor or in technical training curriculum development.
  • Experience with writing, and editing within learning content, including explaining technical topics to non-technical audiences.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Associate or Professional certification in Cloud ML Engineer or Cloud Architect.
  • Experience creating and managing experiential learning (i.e.labs) by collaborating with technical subject-matter-experts and managers to develop training content and curricula.
  • Experience in Python coding, with experience using data science libraries (NumPy, Pandas, etc.) and creating Jupyter notebooks.
  • Experience building and managing ML pipelines.

About the job

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain technical learning content and curricula for various cloud roles. These roles include ML Engineers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Developers. You will translate technical content into effective learning content and curricula. You will have an understanding of cloud computing technologies, learning and development tools and principles instructional design.

You will have experience working as a Technical Curriculum Developer in ML/AI or as an ML Engineer or Data Scientist. You will enjoy keeping your technical skills honed and be empowered to maintain your technology leadership in our learning organization.

To grow in this role, you will have knowledge in Cloud computing technologies, development languages, learning development principles and tools, and instructional design. You will also use your ability to translate technical content into effective learning solutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Design and develop creative, learner-centered training content for on-demand, instructor-led, and blended training. Build associated assets including labs, videos, facilitator guides, and other resources.
  • Analyze Google Cloud AI/ML technologies such as Machine Learning Operations, Vertex AI Platform, Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), Cloud Dataflow, Google BigQuery, Tensorflow, Cloud Dataproc, Cloud Spanner and other solutions areas to understand the services and develop effective training for our customers.
  • Collaborate with Engineers, Portfolio Managers, and other partners to support initiatives.
  • Ensure and deliver best practices standardization across all projects, content, and curricula.
  • Perform needs and task analysis, scope projects, and evaluate existing documentation to identify the most appropriate training approach and content to meet the learning needs of each audience across global audiences.
