- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in strategy consulting, finance, analytics, sales operations, business intelligence, or data analytics.
- 7 years of experience in SQL and Data Visualization (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or similar technologies).
Preferred qualifications:
- Advanced degree with a focus on a quantitative or business field.
- Experience with controlled experiments, causal studies, and communicating results to non-technical audience.
- Experience managing relationships and executing complex strategic and operational initiatives within global organizations.
- Familiarity with Google Ads products, or experience building reporting to support product and sales teams and strategies.
- Ability to build presentations and briefing documents to communicate insights and influence decision making.

The YouTube Ads GTM Creative team plays a vital role in accelerating advertisers' and partners' ability to create more effective ads that drive their business objectives and grow Google/YouTube business. With deep expertise in the creative development process, Generative AI, the complex internal and external creative ecosystem, and our sales organization, this team sits at the nexus of Google and YouTube’s ad creative product and sales strategy.
As an Analytical Lead, you are the Strategic Architect of our data-driven growth engine, tasked with unlocking a multibillion opportunity. You will proactively synthesize complex data into the "commercial truth" that dictates global strategy for Sales, GTM, and Product leaders. We are seeking an analytical lead who is equally comfortable scripting the databases as they are presenting high-stakes data and insights to executives.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$205,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Architect automated data pipelines and design sophisticated, business intelligence dashboards (e.g. Ad Quality) that serve as the global source of truth for Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) tracking.
- Analyze/synthesize complex data to translate findings into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for Sales, GTM, and Product teams.
- Understand and quantify the creative opportunity, forecast metric growth, and identify key value drivers for the creative business. Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Product Management, Product Design and Workflow (PDW), GTM, Marketing, Creative Works, and Finance to integrate findings into business cases and strategic planning.
- Present research methodologies, findings, and strategic recommendations clearly and persuasively to different audiences, including executives.
- Ensure all outputs comply with Google policies by establishing thorough processes for documenting, sourcing, and maintaining data integrity.
