Territory Manager, Small and Medium Businesses, Google Cloud (English, Italian)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in one or more of the following: sales, building client relationships, or account management.
  • Experience building relationships and delivering results in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience in new business acquisition, specifically in the Cloud, SaaS, Paas, or IaaS industry.
  • Ability to communicate in Italian and English fluently in order to interact in this customer-facing sales role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce.com, etc.).
  • Experience collaborating/co-promoting with channel partners in the market.
  • Experience promoting solutions to help businesses transition from on premise to the Cloud.
  • Experience in Cloud, Technology, Computer Science, or Information Systems in Technical or Sales fields.
  • Technical experience in the Cloud computing market, and a passion for Google Cloud products (e.g., Google Workspace, Google Cloud Platform, etc.).

The Google Cloud Small/Medium Businesses (SMB) team focuses on working with small and medium-sized businesses, startups, and digital native customers.

In this role, you will help grow Google Cloud business directly and via partners and inspire leading companies, schools, and government agencies to work smarter with Google tools like Google Workspace, Search, and Chrome. You will reach out proactively to show customers how Google Cloud solutions can help them become more productive, mobile, and collaborative. You will maintain relationships with clients and work cross-functionally to devise solutions and support for Google's clients. You will guide what’s right for the customer, you will meet customers exactly where they are and provide them the best solutions for innovation. Using your passion for Google products, you help spread the magic of Google to organizations around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Manage opportunities through the entire cycle, working with cross-functional teams as necessary, and serve as the primary customer contact for all adoption-related activities.
  • Deliver assigned goals while prioritizing an outstanding customer experience to customers and prospects.
  • Lead business development, forecast accurately, and achieve goals by leading customers through the entire business-cycle.
  • Work with Customer Engineers and trusted Google Cloud Partners as a critical member of the Sales team to cultivate opportunities with small and medium businesses.
  • Implement a regional strategy to support the tactical growth goals.
