Director, Enterprise, Large Customer Sales (Germany Market)

Minimum qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in leading organizational growth acceleration, driving share-shifts, and navigating agency ecosystems.
  • Experience in sales coaching of both sales managers and sellers, and leading an organization through your direct report managers.
  • Experience in influencing and building relationships at the executive decision-making level (C-level) cross-functionally.
  • Ability to communicate in German and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Market experience in Germany, with established senior-level relationships and visible market presence.
  • Experience in advertising and marketing with media planning, buying and optimization expertise, especially across media platforms.
  • Track record in delivering outstanding business results with experience of driving operational rigor across teams.
  • Track record in effortlessly pivoting from high-level strategy to technical knowledge of products and solutions.
  • Proven ability to drive adoption of AI-powered advertising solutions and advocate for data strength/measurement initiatives.
  • Proven commercial success in relevant industries such as media sales, technology sales, agency or client-side sales leadership roles.

Our Dublin hub comprises teams from multiple locations. We transform customer ideas into reality using Google products and services, ensuring they derive maximum value from our solutions. As the Director, LCS Enterprise, you will oversee a broad range of German industries, including automotive, telecommunications, industrials, consumer brands, healthcare, banking, and insurance. Many of these clients are Google Priority Partners with complex OneGoogle relationships across Ads and Cloud. We collaborate closely with our in-country partners, operating as a single, unified team.

You are joining at a pivotal moment as we execute an ambitious growth strategy. In this role, you will lead sales strategy execution across hub teams, fostering a competitive and accountable environment that delivers exceptional results for our customers while consistently meeting or exceeding Google's sales targets.The Enterprise sector comprises six core industries: finance, telco, CPG, healthcare, automotive, and industrials. Success in this role demands the development of tailored industry strategies that capitalize on economies of scale and cross-sector synergies.

As the leader of this team, you will serve as an expert across our AI ads suite, empowering your team to align the right solutions with customer business objectives to achieve ambitious revenue goals.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of sales managers and account managers, growing the world’s largest advertisers to their full potential, and fostering a culture of sales excellence.
  • Own your business from developing growth strategies to driving operational excellence and delivering results to target, at multibillion $ scale.
  • Provide advertisers with solutions that help them reach their full potential and achieve their business and marketing objectives.
  • Use coaching as a daily practice to develop your team’s sales skills and commercial acumen, at every level of your organization.
  • Be able to role model and advocate for a high-energy sales culture.
