Product Solutions Engineer, Commerce, Tech CoE

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in either system design or in one programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python, etc.).
  • 3 years of experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
  • Experience working in technical product support, cloud support, quality engineering, or site reliability engineering.
  • Experience, translating technical concepts and solutions to non-technical and executive audiences.
  • Experience in business analysis to conduct analytics, develop dashboards, and make recommendations.
  • Knowledge of using Google Ads or other online advertising solutions and the media/tech landscape.
  • Ability to work well in any environment to solve problems and think critically.

About the job

In this role, you will understand the technical complexities of online advertising, particularly Google Ads, and also possesses a passion for helping customers succeed. You wil be solving the issues, serving as a technical consultant and trusted advisor for Google Ads customers. You will leverage your troubleshooting skills to identify root causes, develop troubleshooting tools and solutions, and communicate with audiences, from engineers to executives. You will also improve our products and processes by identifying trends and advocating for customer needs. This role offers a combination of technical problem-solving, customer interaction, and critical thinking, giving you the opportunity to truly own the customer experience and drive positive change in the evolving Ads ecosystem.Google creates products and services that make the world a better place, and gTech’s role is to help bring them to life. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $123,000-$176,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and deliver outstanding customer service throughout the customer journey, troubleshooting and resolving issues with Google's advertisers and Sales teams, agencies and partners. Learn the AI powered Ads products and Ads Platforms.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical product issues and apply product expertise to solve technical customer issues and escalations.
  • Develop tools and automation for better diagnostics/data fixes and debugging, either independently or in partnership with Product Engineering teams.
  • Improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering and Business Solutions teams.
  • Partner with our Sales and other cross-functional partners to own and improve the journey of all clients.
    Develop data-driven action plans for customers i.e., root cause resolution via knowledge management, operational improvements, account reviews, and product adoption.
