Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in computer engineering, software development, or building technical tools, including experience creating solutions by writing code.
- Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Experience with cloud technologies such as architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments or cloud data engineering.
- Experience using machine learning and building solutions.
- Experience working with systems (e.g., Linux, Unix, Windows).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Applied Science, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience managing projects and working with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies.
- 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
About the job
As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.
You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

In this role, you will bring innovative engineering solutions to more customers, partners, and agencies to accelerate growth at global scale. You will build platforms to help deliver solutions enabling growth with agility and efficiency. You will automate workflows and externalize tech and media solutions for amplified reach.
You will focus on both solutioning and scaling at a global level, partnering with regional stakeholders, product teams, and specialists, and re-envisioning the way Google Technical Services Ads goes to market across customer segments.

Responsibilities
- Collect requirements, provide guidance, and best practices to apply to ad products and technologies.
- Be responsible for proactively scoping, designing, and building series of solutions and best practices at a global level to be reused by customers, sellers, partners.
- Leverage engineering skills to adapt existing bespoke ads solutions created by regional teams into globally scaled solutions that can support thousands of customers.
- Own solution life cycle from discovery, to launch, managing maintenance bugs and feature requests, as well as deprecation for a portfolio of scaled solutions.
