Senior Performance Lead, Sales (Fixed Term Contract)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles.
  • Experience identifying and recommending scalable solutions to improve customer strategy, and working with senior leadership.
  • Ability to communicate in German and English fluently in order to work in this customer-facing business role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience developing and executing online marketing and advertising strategies, recommending scalable solutions to improve marketing and business strategy, and working with senior leadership internally/externally to create value for their business plans.
  • 3 years of experience working with advertising performance solutions from any of the market-leading digital video/social media platforms, with experience delivering growth and ROI, and achieving ambitious business KPIs.
  • Knowledge of the digital media landscape and dynamics, and a keen interest in working with AI-powered solutions for performance advertising.

About the job

In this role, you will join our performance advertising center of excellence in DACH, with dedicated focus on Google’s direct-response Search, Apps, and DemandGen AI-powered campaigns, working with customers towards ambitious performance KPIs (e.g., sales, leads, ROI). You will work cross-functionally within Google and our Client Solutions organization to deliver the most impactful solutions to DACH performance advertisers looking to amplify their investments with Google Solutions beyond Search.

You will be part of a team of Performance Leads within the entire DACH market, and leverage cross-functional expertise from a wide team of specialists in Performance, Measurement, and Branding.

We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Partner to develop and lead Google’s DACH product strategy and execution with clients ensuring their success in the Future of Performance Marketing using the Google suite of performance-based marketing tools (e.g., Search, Shopping, Display, and YouTube).
  • Partner with Sales, top clients, and B/C-level stakeholders to drive client success with your product expertise. Create product solutions with Search, App, and DemandGen.
  • Partner across regional and global product management teams to roll out exceptional products in Central Europe. Review and interpret revenue and KPI developments.
  • Combine product knowledge, insights, and feedback from sales teams and clients to conceptualize, pitch, and execute on solutions that drive client success.
  • Become the subject matter expert in performance solutions for Performance by Google, for other specialists, our leadership, and wider sales teams.
