Sales Strategy and Operations Manager, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of relevant experience in strategy and operations, management consulting or corporate strategy.
  • Experience working with client and stakeholder executives, collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving operational and initiatives.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to engage with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or other relevant technical advanced degree.
  • Experience collaborating on sales strategy planning with global public sector clients.
  • Experience planning and managing at both the strategic and operational level.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, products, and market landscape.
  • Distinctive analytical skills and ability to present to executives and communicate with highly technical management teams.
  • Comfort with large data sets and strong data analytics skills.

About the job

As the Brazil Strategy and Operations Lead Cloud Latin America, you will work directly with business executives and key leaders on critical business projects. You will own strategic initiatives that include assessing market opportunities, developing go-to-market strategies, and driving the associated business planning processes.

In this role, you will take on ambiguous problems, applying sound business judgment and effectively communicating complex issues to audiences that include sales executives and senior Google leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Provide thought leadership to the Cloud Sales Leadership and cross-functional leaders, and join them to manage the annual and quarterly planning processes, which include the development of the business plans.
  • Structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives by developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing relevant data, leading analyses, and developing final recommendations
  • Own strategic initiatives on both an on-going and ad hoc basis, working collaboratively across the global organization and acting as the strategy partner for regional sales leaders.
  • Be able to project manage, cross-functionally coordinate, and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding program outcomes.
  • Analyze processes, identify opportunities for improvement, define requirements, and collaborate cross-functionally and globally to improve processes and best practices.
