Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
- 12 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting or operations strategy, ideally in frontier AI or applied research (leveraging frontier models in applied areas across agriculture, sustainability, education, climate and science), technology or media sectors.
- Experience driving complex, cross-functional partnerships or programs and influencing C-level executives and stakeholders across global organizations.
- Experience designing and managing scaled partnership ecosystems, first-of-its-kind agreements, or advancing research strategies from pilot to graduation.

Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. The AI, Research and Core (ARC) Partnerships team supports APAC partnerships for Google Research, DeepMind, Tech and Society, Labs and Core. The Frontier and Applied AI Team within ARC Partnerships supports scientific discovery and societal impact, driving partnerships to bring AI-first product innovations to life while ensuring AI is advanced responsibly to benefit humanity.
In this role, you will empower and enable project teams by understanding their mission, identifying partners, developing and maintaining relationships, negotiating agreements and serving as a strategic advisor to advance the team’s objectives, including the launch, adoption and successful scaling of Frontier AI and Applied Research programs.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex research needs into actionable strategies and APAC partnership opportunities. Drive the research flywheel (validation to externalization) and ensure adoption of Google’s frontier models (e.g., Gemma) and Applied AI programs (e.g. agriculture, climate and sustainability) across APAC’s public and private sectors.
- Define GTM for emerging AI products (e.g., Google Labs - NotebookLM). Formulate first-of-its-kind partnerships to shape roadmaps and manage high-priority partner pipelines.
- Partner with global teams (Legal, Engineering, Business) to execute agreements and integrate APAC requirements into global platforms and tooling.
- Lead end-to-end negotiation of sophisticated agreements, autonomously navigate complex technical and legal terms with precision and speed.
- Maintain deep expertise in the frontier AI landscape and emerging trends, serve as the team's go-to domain expert.
