Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
- 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI), sales, finance, and other stakeholders.
- Experience building and shipping Consumer products.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with A/B testing and user research methodologies.
- Familiarity with creator-focused products or content sharing platforms.
- Ability to translate user needs and business objectives into detailed product specifications and roadmaps.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and data science.
- Passion for YouTube and an understanding of the platform's ecosystem, creators, and viewers.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and investigative skills with experience using data to inform product decisions and measure success.

YouTube's Community team is seeking a passionate Product Manager to work on Posts, a growing format on YouTube to inspire casual creation and lightweight content consumption. Posts keep creators connected with their fans and are becoming a great way to use images, text, and music to create content without having to create a full video.You'll be joining the Community organization within YouTube which is responsible for various product portfolio including Subscriptions, Posts, Comments, and more.
Responsibilities
- Define the goal, roadmap, and success metrics for Posts features.
- Understand viewer and fan needs, translating insights into compelling product experiences.
- Conceptualize and build intuitive tools leveraging technology (including generative AI) to empower meaningful fan participation and drive engagement.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and research teams to bring the product goals to life.
- Utilize data-driven decision-making to measure performance, identify improvement areas, and iterate on the product experience.
