Global Partnerships Sales Engine, Deals Lead

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in using business generation, or Ad serving solutions (AdManager, AdSense, AdMob, or other solutions).
  • Experience in managing and optimizing contracting systems, tools, templates, and processes between user experience and compliance.
  • Experience with streamlining operational process (e.g. automation) and with SQL.
  • Experience in managing medium to large with short and long term projects with knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Understanding of the advertising (i.e. Ad serving, business generation solutions) and of key platforms, and trends (i.e. desktop, mobile, video).
  • Excellent investigative (e.g. understand business generation metrics and derive optimization), operational efficiency (streamline process flow) and stakeholder management skills.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and improve financial operations processes for Sellside including, Request for Proposals (RFP), agreements structure analysis, guiding sales on negotiation levers, preparing deals for executive approvals and agreements execution.
  • Identify and develop areas to contribute to the team goal of realizing operational efficiency gains by streamlining deals processes. 
  • Author process documentation and conduct trainings on agreements and contract processes for a global Sales team. Gathering and analyse feedback from users and internal team to improve existing workflows.
  • Oversee discount and agreements performance accountability aligning with cross-functional Financial Operations Teams. Liaise on behalf of Sales team, with various cross-functional teams to resolve billing and payment issues promptly.
  • Working with Program Managers, Engineers and Legal to design, measure and improve agreements, and contract tools and processes. Support the automation of AdManager billing workflow.
