Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
  • 5 years of experience in a Product Management, Product Operations, or a similar role working with products in an online commerce or content business.
  • 5 years of experience working in the gaming environment (e.g., developers, publishers, platforms), and with the mobile gaming consumer (e.g., player acquisition, engagement, business generation).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with Product and Engineering teams to make trade-offs and launch user-facing product features.
  • Experience designing and implementing product development frameworks.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing partners with excellent communication and program management skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and organizations, prioritizing workloads based on business case analysis and investigative skills.
  • Excellent prompt engineering and human computation skills.

About the job

As a Product Operations Manager, you will partner with different Play Product, Engineering and Product Marketing teams to determine the requirements and roadmap for launching and optimizing emerging programs, features and products. You will lead the operationalization efforts, connecting the ‘what’ with the ‘how’, and coming up with solutions and processes that enable scale. You will focus on enabling new content experiences within the mobile games ecosystem through design, test, experiment and scale new features that reaches billions of users across multi-genre landscape spanning from games discovery, to engagement features to delight our global user base.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $137,000-$200,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of the Play Store roadmap regarding search, discovery, and engagement for apps and multi-modal content across mobile, large screens, and wearables.
  • Develop capabilities and thought leadership with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to launch new products, scale operations, and increase the global impact of content solutions.
  • Define and operationalize frameworks for content classification and evaluation to connect users with relevant, high-quality content while ensuring consistent deployment standards across all platform form factors.
  • Track progress on feature development and communicate critical milestones, technical details, and launch schedules to cross-functional stakeholders, including Business Development and internal partner teams.
  • Own the end-to-end operationalization of features by managing design, legal, and process requirements, while driving testing, piloting, training, and ongoing technical support for successful product launches.
