  • 11 years of industry experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or IT, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience in a people management role leading sales teams.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Dutch fluently to engage with clients in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience managing relationships with customers or agencies and service partners at an executive level.
  • 6 years of experience working in the Finance industry or product area.
  • 2 years of experience working in an organization.
  • Experience in a leadership role.

As an Industry Head, you lead a sales team, fostering talent development and managing client relationships both collaboratively and independently. Demonstrate excellent competitive sales skills through direct client interaction, leading difficult pitches, and initiating conversations. Drive a dynamic sales team towards significant revenue growth and enhanced product uptake, prioritizing client and partner contentment. Play a crucial role in the local sales leadership team and community, bringing and building a growth mindset, influencing and implementing growth strategies. Develop and strengthen C-level connections with brand advertisers and their agencies, leading the way in creative ideas within the advertising industry. Coach your team to set ambitious account plans and execute strategies, helping and inspiring clients to achieve their objectives and to be successful in an on-demand viewership and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions using Google's products and services.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a sales team specialized in marketing strategies and advertising solutions relevant to the Finance and Industrial industry, focusing on talent development and management of client relationships.
  • Drive the sales team towards substantial revenue growth, enhanced lead gen engagement and delivering on sales targets, prioritising client satisfaction and partnership development.
  • Develop and strengthen C-level relationships with Finance and Industrial clients and agencies, introducing creative and effective marketing solutions.
  • Showcase and coach the team in excellent sales skills through client interaction, leading pitches, and initiating conversations about advertising, marketing and Google's proposition.
  • Design and execute tailored business plans, account plans and strategies, helping clients achieve their goals in the evolving Finance and Industrial landscape, leveraging advanced technology and data-driven insights.
