Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, and management consulting, or 5 years with advanced degree.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to engage with local stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or other advanced degree.
- Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
- Experience managing end-to-end partnerships.
- Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with partners.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.
As a Strategic Partner Manager for Google Shopping Partnerships, you will drive the strategy, enablement, and growth of our commerce ecosystem. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-priority external partners, including feed providers, e-commerce platforms, large merchants and marketplaces that power Google’s retail ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Product and other cross-functional teams to drive user value. Drive Google Maps partnerships from concept to launch to ongoing partner management.
- Manage coordination with internal cross-functional teams (e.g. Product, Engineering, Policy, PR, Marketing, Legal, Operations, Finance) and other Business Development teams, including regional counterparts around the world. Support cross functional initiatives.
- Own the end-to-end relationship strategy for a portfolio of feed providers, E-commerce platform, marketplaces and large merchants. Drive partner adoption of advanced Google Merchant Center features, APIs, and next-generation products.
- Serve and represent the partner and retailer to internal Google teams. Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Sales to influence the product roadmap, remove program roadblocks, and co-develop scalable solutions for product data quality.
