Marketing Strategy and Operations Lead, AI Transformation

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in management consulting, digital transformation, or a related field, including experience in a client facing role.
  • Experience with multiple Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning tools.
  • Experience in project, product, or technical program management.
  • Experience with stakeholder management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to leverage interest in marketing to inspire adoption of AI and transform marketing work.
  • Ability to deliver and manage multiple projects simultaneously and connect dots across teams, insights, and initiatives.
  • Ability to work effectively in a changing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including experience analyzing data and distilling findings into simple communications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation design skills.

About the job

In this role, you will support leaders across a portfolio of consumer products, including Gemini, Search, and Maps. You will build the frameworks and infrastructure that empower leads to successfully manage and scale their organizations. You will manage planning and operational processes and work cross-functionally with key partners to solve our toughest issues. You will act as the central architect for Consumer Apps Marketing’s (CAM) AI future, partnering closely with our Strategy and Operations (S&O) Executive Director. You will have full autonomy to identify the opportunity, define the strategy, and drive the execution of our AI transformation. You will also bring all our marketers and our core ways of working into the age of AI. You will be passionate about and adept at identifying opportunities for AI integration, designing solutions, and leading their implementation to drive significant business transformation. You will use a hypothesis-driven approach to solve problems, possess quantitative and communication skills, and manage ambiguous questions through cross-functional collaboration at all levels.Know the user. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $162,000-$240,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Work with CAM S&O’s Executive Director to deliver and execute strategy for Consumer Apps Marketing’s AI transformation, identifying and prioritizing core business areas with the greatest potential for AI-driven disruption.
  • Develop the roadmap for transformation, articulating a compelling goal of the future state and quantifying expected Profit and Loss (P&L) impact through increased productivity and reduced operational cost.
  • Own the organization Objectives and Key Results (OKR) to rapidly increase our Marketers’ AI proficiency of Google’s tools, continuously finding ways to educate and surface new possibilities into workflows.
  • Own the goal, strategy, and execution across our various Marketing functions for their AI transformation, rethinking processes by using AI to replace legacy workflows and improve coordination.
  • Serve as the primary operator for horizontal projects across CAM, rapidly analyzing ambiguous, high-stakes problems and delivering clear, actionable recommendations.
