About the job

GBO education Market Activation and Growth develops and delivers product, skills, and leadership activations that enable Google sales teams to achieve their ambitious goals. While we apply knowledge of learning and coaching, this specific leadership role focuses on the high-level strategy and operational integration required to help our sales teams grow in a world of increasing competition and complexity.

In this role, you will lead the transition from a "training" mindset to a non-directive performance sales coaching culture. You will localize and activate the global GBO education strategy to ensure AMER Channels (LCS, GCS) meet business and capability objectives. You will oversee AMER operations, including budget, capacity planning, resource allocation, and measuring the business impact/return on investment (ROI) of regional activations.

As a key direct report to the Director of Market Activation and Growth, you will bridge global strategy and regional execution. You will be a GTM specialist with an extensive sales background who builds relationships with regional executives to drive business transformation, moving the region from a traditional training mindset to a high-performance sales coaching culture. You will drive the regional adoption of GBO education's adaptive, AI-powered learning ecosystem. You will embed GenAI solutions into local seller workflows to deliver hyper-personalized coaching and scale performance support across AMER without adding headcount.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
