Minimum qualifications:
- 7 years of experience managing, sourcing, or procuring business resources and vendors.
- 7 years of experience developing and deploying processes to mitigate risk, and leading operational or project based work and tasks.
- Experience with managing supply chain security operations for a multinational organization.
- Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience coordinating or managing security, and experience planning security operations or strategy for security programs.
- Experience coordinating security protocols for moving high value cargo globally (e.g., GPS active monitoring, security escorts).
- Experience managing cargo theft related incidents and investigations, and working with external partners.
- Experience with conducting security audits and security risk assessments.
- Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., TAPA, C-TPAT, AEO-S).
- Ability to develop and deploy security programs for high value assets, including new product introductions (NPI).

As a Compliance, Security and Risk Management (CSRM) Area Security Manager, you will drive the outcomes of key data center infrastructure through technical contributions. You will use your knowledge of supply chain logistics security, operations, and local laws to develop and lead programs that align with regional or global strategy in order to gain efficiencies program-wide. You will partner with external industry leaders and collaborate with upper management and cross-functional teams to discuss project prioritization, and resource allocation. You will also demonstrate the behaviors expected as captured in Google's cultural pillars, and you will engage in community contributions to improve and sustain our culture, making Google a better place to work.
The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world. We are an upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$193,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and oversee strategies and protocols to protect the organization's supply chain and transportation networks from theft, disruption and other physical security threats.
- Manage the daily operations of vendors providing services including security, training and risk management for one or multiple cross-functional technical infrastructure locations.
- Act as a point of escalation for defined security-related incidents with uncertain solutions.
- Develop cross-functional strategies to keep operational costs to a minimum, improve efficiency and maintain an appropriate security posture.
- Perform risk assessments and provide feedback to internal design teams for a variety of secure facilities.
