Policy Enforcement Manager, YouTube Shopping

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience working in an operations capacity (e.g., scaled/sales operations, vendor management, process/organizational improvement, etc.).
  • Experience with identifying abuse trends or working in policy.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and partners.
  • Experience working with data to identify trends and make recommendations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in operations including Shopping/e-commerce, workflow optimization, process design or management consulting.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, define successful approaches, and proactively solve problems across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work with large datasets, query multiple data sources, and perform analyses to track performance metrics and drive operational improvements.
  • Ability to develop in ambiguity, and be flexible.
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders across geographies to contribute towards continuous improvement of operations.
  • Strong organizational, project management skills with excellent attention to detail.

As a Policy Enforcement Manager for YouTube Shopping, you will focus on keeping YouTube’s growing shopping ecosystem safe, compliant, and trustworthy. You will lead operational workflows that safeguard users, merchants and creators, support vendor teams, and work cross-functionally to solve complex challenges in an evolving environment.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000-$157,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead enforcement and operations management for YouTube Shopping and proactively identify automation and efficiency opportunities using drive data driven strategies.
  • Conceive of design and implement performance metrics, analyze operational data for insights, and proactively address gaps to drive efficiency process improvements and automation.
  • Handle escalations with fast turn-around time to define the plan and provide timely updates to executives.
  • Partner with teams across Product, Business Analysts, Vendor Operations and Engineering to solve complex problems and drive innovations, which will include setting up and optimizing vendor workflows, defining clear processes and operational guidelines to improve efficiency.
  • Review graphic, controversial and offensive video content in-line with YouTube’s community guidelines and policies.
