Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or IT, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting or media specific industry.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Hebrew fluently to engage with clients in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience managing relationships with customers or agencies and service partners at an executive level.
  • 2 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Experience in managing a sales team with business goals and work in a high growth environment.
  • Experience in a leadership role.
  • Knowledge of the Israeli marketing ecosystem and experience working with Israeli clients.

As a Sales Manager on the SBS Engage team, you will lead, coach and motivate a high-performing team to use their sales skills to understand our advertisers' needs and deliver solutions that grow their businesses. You will own relationships and partner directly with clients to deliver sustainable solutions. You will accelerate business growth and think strategically about the business segment while working cross-functionally with partner teams. You will proactively think outside the box and be an advocate for customers to help shape the engagement and program design.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Account Strategists and Accelerated Growth Consultants, set and communicate team priorities and make decisions and support activities that align with Google’s values.
  • Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.
  • Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Build an in-depth knowledge of how Google advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and executive partner stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
