Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.
  • 3 years of experience in a strategy and operations or consulting role.
  • 3 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience creating complex data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
  • Experience with strategic and operational projects, cross-functional stakeholder management and project management, including the ability to work autonomously and keep multiple priorities moving at the same time
  • Experience using SQL or data analytics tools deliver insights and recommendations.

About the job

The YouTube Business Central Planning and Operations team is responsible for leading global, cross-functional, strategic initiatives to drive the unprecedented growth and health of the YouTube creator and partner ecosystem. The core capabilities of the team include strategic planning, business operations, incentives design and operations, product partnerships strategy, and go-to-market for the three regions: Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

As a Business Operations Senior Associate, you will work closely with the leadership team to help the business grow and operate effectively, ensure senior leaders are set up to deliver in key internal and external moments, and drive strategic projects in support of critical priorities. You will build strong relationships broadly across the business, refine and drive operating processes for major internal and external leadership moments, and coordinate initiatives to improve our organizational structure and operating model.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $124,000-$177,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, launch, and land global strategic and operational project work streams to help drive organizational goals (e.g., ways of working, career development, organizational design).
  • Orchestrate and drive a strategic cadence of weekly meetings and periodic leadership summits to enable senior executives to stay informed on key cross-cutting programs and discuss long-term business strategy.
  • Identify problems and issues across the organization, create programs and processes to solve them, and influence cross-functional teams and leadership to bring them to life.
  • Gather market intelligence and conduct analyses and modeling to develop insights, product/program data analysis (e.g., SQL, spreadsheets), dashboarding, and deck building.
  • Define actionable plans and roadmaps and align cross-functional stakeholders to drive successful implementation of change initiatives.
