Investigations Accountant

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in investigations.
- 4 years of experience directly conducting security investigations regarding threats, risks, or other potential security issues.
Preferred qualifications:
- Certification in CFE, CPA, or equivalent certification.
- Experience managing and leveraging relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional partners, onsite or remote.
- Experience working with technology companies and ability to understand complex technical issues.
- Basic proficiency in SQL.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets/spreadsheet software, including advanced formula writing, complex data analysis, impactful data visualization, and the ability to provide clear, data-driven insights that support recommendations.

Responsibilities
- Perform advanced data analysis to identify anomalies and complex patterns, and generate meaningful, data-driven insights. Present findings through effective data visualization.
- Identify potential policy and control gaps, and recommend actionable solutions and remediation steps to improve the effectiveness of Alphabet’s governance, risk management, and internal control framework.
- Navigate through ambiguity to execute multiple matters and projects simultaneously, working effectively with cross-functional teams to drive results.
- Prioritize and manage a complex portfolio to deliver impactful results in a change-oriented and fast-paced environment with an agile mindset.
- Lead and execute end-to-end financial investigations leveraging AI and agentic tools.
