Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
  • Experience in Data Centers and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience in supply chain or ERP.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
  • 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
  • 2 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 1 year of experience in technical leadership.

We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) is a portfolio of fully managed hardware and software solutions that extend Google Cloud’s infrastructure and services to the edge and in private and hybrid data centers.

As the Product Manager, you will drive the development and implementation of tools, processes, and business models that enable the scalable, and high-quality delivery of GDC hardware. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure the execution of supply chain solutions that meet the evolving needs of GDC customers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and life-cycle of software tools designed to streamline and automate supply chain operations, including gathering requirements, defining features, prioritizing development, and ensuring tools meet the needs of users across the supply chain.
  • Create and put into action new business strategies that enhance the efficiency and scalability of Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) hardware deployment. 
  • Establish clear, standardized procedures for various aspects of the GDC hardware supply chain, mapping out workflows, identify key decision points, and document steps to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality control.
  • Develop plans to extend the reach of GDC hardware offerings into new markets or customer segments, including analyzing market opportunities, assessing competitive landscapes, and formulating strategies to enter and succeed in new territories.
