About the job

At Google, we put our users first. The world is always changing, so we need Product Managers who are continuously adapting and excited to work on products that affect millions of people every day.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. As the XR Audio Product Manager (PM), you will lead the goal, strategy, and execution of immersive audio and soundscape experiences across Google's next-generation XR devices. You will define how users hear, speak, and interact with their environment through high-fidelity spatial audio, advanced voice capture, and intelligent acoustic context.

This role is part of the XR Platform team responsible for building the core platform services and experiences that define why users put on an XR device everyday, enable users to get value from XR devices, and shape the next generation immersive computing platform for Google.

For decades, the computing revolution has reshaped our world driven by
breakthroughs in compute, connectivity, mobile, and now, AI. Google's XR team is at the forefront of the next major leap – the convergence of AI and XR. This is more than just new devices – it's about reimagining how we interact with the world around us. We're building a future where
lightweight XR devices like smart glasses and headsets pair with helpful AI to augment human intelligence, offering personalized, conversational, and contextually aware experiences.
