Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience designing mechanical components such as plastic or metal parts, mechanical assemblies, printed circuit boards, or flexes.
- Experience using computer-aided design (CAD) tools such as 3D MCAD, NX, Creo, or Solidworks.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in mechanical design, analysis, and validation of electro-mechanical systems and products, and in mechanical product design and analysis using CAD/CAE tools.
- Experience in Experimental Modal Testing/Modal Analysis FEA/Sound and Vibration Engineering.
- Experience in designing and analyzing structural engineering fundamentals and material properties/science, and with dimensional tolerance analysis.

Responsibilities
- Own and design entire product design life cycle - including requirements gathering, concept generation, detailed design with analysis, verification testing, cross-functional reviews, and manufacturing release.
- Develop and execute designs for systems backed by thorough engineering analysis.
- Create test plans, perform testing, and validate designs to meet engineering requirements.
- Troubleshoot, root cause, and resolve potential technical challenges.
- Influence and shape future products by providing mechanical and product design engineering knowledge into the technology roadmap with data-driven decisions.
