Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience working in a sales, business development, or consultative role.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in digital content/media with a demonstrated record of initiating and driving new business opportunities.
- Experience in business development and an understanding of digital content distribution and business generation models.
- Understanding of technological concepts, financial models and music copyrights.
- Ability to interface with partners, solve critical problems through analysis and grow in a fast-paced, fluid and collaborative environment.
- Ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally and externally.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.
As a Music Content Partnerships Manager, for YouTube Music, you'll manage programs with Artists, Managers, and Record Labels working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, Operations, Finance, and Legal to ensure our partners are positioned for success and our users enjoy the best experience. You will assist in music strategy planning, facilitate business/operational processes, manage the operational components of strategic partner campaigns, identify/drive business growth, and obtain approvals for various music-related opportunities. You will manage partner relationships, prioritize incoming requests, troubleshoot partner systems around reporting, manage content, and create periodic reports on partner performance. In this role, you will create long-term relationships with Artists, Managers, and Record Labels, renew existing partnerships, and optimize opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize existing partnerships to maximize business growth and the user experience.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, focus on existing performance growth, and advocate internally on behalf of partners.
- Prioritize business development through analysis and knowledge of YouTube's product roadmap.
- Define, model, execute against, and analyze key distribution performance metrics and recommend channel improvements to partners.
- Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Finance and Legal.
