EMEA International Growth Consultant, Large Customer Sales (English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in digital advertising, sales, business development, or strategy consulting firms building business strategies.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience building and managing executive-level relationships with customers or agency partners in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Experience working with or for retail companies with an understanding of how both ecommerce and omnichannel retail organizations generate business with their products.
  • Excellent problem-solving and structuring skills, with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights and commercial recommendations to influence shared objectives.
  • Excellent business acumen, problem-solving and analysis skills with a proven track record in advanced data analytics (e.g., Python, R, SQL).

This is a strategic sales role, supporting EMEA’s most prominent businesses to define their growth strategies, prioritize markets to execute their strategies, and build the go-to-market approach including investment proposals linked to specific value levers for these clients to succeed in international markets.

As a strategic partner, you will demonstrate advanced sales capability in terms of storytelling, quantitative and qualitative problem-solving, and embedding a deep understanding of the Google suite of advertising and localization solutions to support clients with their growth. It is a strategic imperative that the team can uncover insights that are directly translated into commercial opportunities and return on investment with the full suite of Google products. You will possess investigative skills that enable them to go beyond the obvious to problem-solve and develop differentiated solutions for their clients.

The Global Business Organization (GBO) is the engine that powers Google’s full ecosystem of products and services to help customers and partners succeed and grow. GBO includes the commercial arms of Ads sellers, business development teams, and customer services and support, as well as overlay programs that enable coordinated engagement with Google's most complex and important customers and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Consult Google’s most complex customers on successfully growing their international business by understanding objectives, building data-driven recommendations, and shaping expansion strategies.
  • Partner at a Director and Management level to drive operational excellence and accelerate sales velocity with the sales teams, taking personal responsibility for the delivery of transformational client initiatives.
  • Develop tailored go-to-market (GTM) strategies accounting for local consumer and performer trends, and manage the full pitch life-cycle from discovery to C-level delivery and integration into customer workflows.
  • Act as a vertical international growth expert and thought leader, sharing best practices and managing internal expert relationships.
  • Work with Google Business Services (GBS) teams to diagnose and overcome operational hurdles such as payments, customer experience, logistics, and localization, supporting account teams to unlock operational stakeholders.
