Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
- Ability to communicate in Korean and English fluently to support client relationship management.
Preferred qualifications:
- 15 years of experience in a business development or partnership role in the games industry.
- 5 years of experience managing people or teams.
- Experience influencing cross-functional teams (e.g. Product Management, Finance, Marketing, etc.), leading internal/external communications and negotiations.
- Ability to use investigative insights and employ thoughtful structures to solve problems and communicate solutions.
- Ability to work autonomously and to thrive in a fluid, and collaborative environment.

As part of the Platforms and Devices team, Googlers working on Google Play do everything from engineering our backend systems, to shaping the product strategy, to forming great content partnerships. The Play Partnerships team works with the developers that are the lifeblood of this ecosystem. The content, games and apps they create bring Android devices to life. The team’s mission is twofold: help developers grow their businesses on the Android platform, and inspire them to adopt new products and features to create helpful and joyful experiences for our users.
Responsibilities
- Own and lead partnership strategy and relationship management with key game developers in Korea.
- Provide consultations to key partners’ games business based on analysis of partner metrics, performance, best practices and strategic priorities.
- Provide actionable insights to shape product and commercial big bets, and drive impactful collaboration with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing, etc.) to grow the Play ecosystem.
- Develop and execute plans to help deliver partner’s business successes.
- Manage people to maximize business impact as a team.
