Agency Commercials Lead, Global Client and Agency Solutions

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting, or media (e.g., search, social, mobile, display, and video media).
  • Experience in commercial strategy, negotiation, sales operations, or agency trading within the digital advertising or technology sector.
  • Experience designing, modeling, and executing commercial agreements, joint business plans (JBPs), or incentive programs.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing cross-functional relationships (e.g., Sales, GTM, Finance, Legal) and consensus across varying levels of leadership.
  • Understanding of the global agency ecosystem, including agency trading models, procurement dynamics, and reseller market structures.
  • Familiarity with Google Incentive programs, such as VIP, Principal Trading, and Agency KPIs.
  • Ability to successfully deliver sales enablement programs, upskilling executive sellers on value-maximization strategies.
  • Ability to demonstrate financial acumen and investigative capabilities, with a track record of building custom business cases to assess the feasibility of agreement terms.
  • Excellent communication, project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

The Global Client and Agency Solutions (GCAS) Commercials Team is focused on driving sustainable growth across these brands and partners through partnership, incentives, and pricing. We are at the forefront of activating, enabling, and executing flagship commercial programs with some of the largest global advertisers and agencies in the world.

As an Agency Commercials Lead, you will act as a specialist driving commercial activation, sales enablement, and agreement development to land ambitious partnerships with our global agencies and partners. Serving as a thought partner to sales leadership and an operational expert, you will represent the global customer in cross-functional forums, shape future incentive programs, and enable our front-line Agency teams to maximize business impact through creative agreement structuring, full value of partnership packaging, and tailored discussion.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $124,000-$180,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Design sustainable incentive structures that align agency-specific commercial goals with long-term growth.
  • Provide coaching to sales teams (Account Executives) on Full-Value Partnership (FVP) packaging and advanced discussion tactics.
  • Lead workshops and build bespoke financial models to demonstrate the business impact of Google solutions. Advocate for agency needs in internal Agreement Forums to shape global commercial programs and portfolio allocation.
  • Guide training, office hours, and commercialization plans to embed core sales principles across global account teams.
  • Coordinate with in-market Large Customer Sales (LCS) Trading Teams to track performance, align global-local growth, and ensure agreement activation.
