Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 9 years of experience in marketing working across one or more marketing fields (i.e., growth, product marketing, brand marketing, social).
  • Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience marketing to both developer and C-level executive audiences.
  • Experience using data to drive decisions.
  • Understanding of the enterprise AI/ML ecosystem, cloud platforms, and engaged landscape.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence executive stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Excellent problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for crafting compelling narratives from technical information.

The Events and Experiences team brings the magic of Google to life through physical experiences that make our brand tangible, human, and shareable. You will collaborate across teams and departments to create delightful, one-of-a-kind experiences that leave a lasting impression.

The Google Cloud Marketing team is shaping the future of how businesses use technology.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining the strategy and orchestrating content for our AI portfolio across the entire event funnel from our global flagship events to intimate executive round tables. You will understand the enterprise AI landscape, develop on building compelling narratives, and can mobilize teams to deliver exceptional content experiences. You will be the central hub, connecting product, marketing, and business to ensure our event content is insightful and drives business results.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$245,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the content strategy for Google Cloud's AI presence at key events, from main stage keynotes and experiential activation's to technical breakout sessions, ensuring a cohesive and compelling narrative.
  • Conduct continuously engaged and qualitative research to understand the evolving AI landscape. Generate actionable insights that inform our event messaging, content, and overall strategy to ensure we maintain a differentiated position.
  • Master the needs of our audiences, from developers to enterprise decision-makers. Craft content strategies that effectively engage both technical and business communities within the Business-to-Business (B2B) enterprise ecosystem.
  • Partner with digital and social media teams to create a content strategy that extends beyond the physical event, leveraging B2B platforms and community channels for broad reach and sustained engagement.
