Customer Engineer, Applied AI, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
  • 4 years of experience with conversational Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology.
  • Experience in building Artificial Intelligence Solutions or Machine Learning (ML) Application programming interfaces (APIs) and developing applications with AI methods or frameworks.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Customer Engagement Suite Architect with Google Dialogflow CX.
  • Experience in development and deployment of conversational AI Dialogflow CX models including intents, entities, and integrations in a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.
  • Experience in Implementing and optimizing features like context management, entity recognition, and multi-turn conversations.
  • Experience with Contact center/Interactive Voice Routing/Response (IVR) Architecture.
  • Ability to write custom Information-Retrieval workflows or Retrieval augmented generation code using common Orchestration frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

In this role, you will be a trusted advisor, guiding customers on their cloud journey and showing them how Google Cloud's Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) tools can help them achieve their business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Work with customers to understand their business needs and translate them into Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) solutions on Google Cloud.
  • Design and deploy AI/ML solutions, leverage your expertise in Google Cloud's products and services (e.g., Customer Engagement Suite like Cloud Contact Center AI (CCAI), Dialogflow, Agent Builder, Agent Assist, Insights AI).
  • Develop and deliver proofs-of-concept, demos, and technical workshops to showcase the power of Google Cloud AI/ML.
  • Act as a leader and trusted advisor, guide customers on quality for AI/ML implementation and optimization.
  • Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other events as needed, acting as a public advocate for Google Cloud.
