Technical Solutions Consultant, Sovereign Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience serving in the capacity of a technical solution architect in a cloud computing environment in customer/partner-facing roles.
  • 5 years of experience with Kubernetes and Container based applications in the role of Technical Architect or Designer/Developer.
  • 5 years of experience with private cloud infrastructure (e.g., architecture, installation and operation).
  • 5 years of experience working with executives in Product, Engineering, and C-level organizations as a trusted adviser.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and deliver end-to-end solutions to customers/partners.
  • Understanding of Sovereign Cloud requirements in EMEA and APAC, with experience working with private clouds in highly secure government installations.
  • Understanding of AI Models, Large Language Models, AI agents, AI Agentic workflows and AI specialized infrastructure especially as it relates to AI trends and issues within businesses.
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.

About the job

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.

You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

As Sovereign Technical Solutions Consultant, you will work as part of the dedicated team focused on identifying potential Sovereign Cloud opportunities, closing the sovereign strategic partnership agreements and enabling/supporting the partner to deliver Sovereign Solutions.

In this role, you will lead the technical discussions with internal stakeholders, including product and engineering and sovereign partners at strategic levels and will work as the trusted adviser to the VPs of Product and Engineering.

The scope of sovereign solutions includes all three flavors of Google’s sovereign portfolio including Google Cloud Data Boundary, Google Cloud Dedicated, and Google Cloud Air Gapped.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical discussions with sovereign partners in the partner selection, contracting and onboarding phases.
  • Coordinate the partner enablement by working with Learning Services team(s) and Product and Engineering.
  • Work as the technical POC for the partner for any support issues.
  • Work as the technical trusted adviser for the partner stakeholders and Google Product and Engineering teams.
  • Assist in promoting motions with partners to develop/execute sovereign pipelines.
