Global Product Activation Manager, YouTube Community

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in go-to-market, corporate planning, product marketing, program management, or consulting or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience in the creator industry partnering with Product Managers, or other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience in an analytically-intensive role, such as management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working highly cross-functionally with business and technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of YouTube Product, creator ecosystem (including content creation) and competitive landscape.
  • Strong business sense with strategic thinking and distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills (e.g., SQL).
  • Ability to learn quickly and flex across different subject matters and priorities with high attention to detail in an ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to communicate and influence effectively, including strong presentation skills and experience presenting to senior audiences.

In this role, you will primarily focus on the YouTube Community. You will work to make YouTube the best place to create, discover, and interact with culture. This role is focused on activating YouTube Community features, which broadly includes comments, posts, fan communities and community responsibility features to help creators and viewers make meaningful connections.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Define and shape Go-to-market plans, execute communication documents, lead experiments, trusted tester programs, and quarterly forecasting.
  • Represent creator and partner feedback to influence product roadmaps. Be a product expert and serve as a consultant for the business and partnerships teams.
  • Drive operational excellence, including setting and tracking OKRs and driving annual business planning. Own program management and tracking for key programs.
  • Contribute to analysis and intel for strategic projects and, develop executive level business cases to unlock spend, define business strategy, or support strategic shifts.
  • Gather market intelligence and conduct analyses and modeling to develop insights, product/program data analysis (e.g., SQL, spreadsheets), dashboarding, and deck building.
