Regulatory Compliance Operations Specialist (English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields.
  • Experience with data analysis and in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, and Slides) to organize, analyze, and present data and information.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in escalations, and regulatory programs.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in content policy, anti-abuse, and reviewing online content while managing exposure to sensitive content.
  • Experience with data analysis tools like SQL, spreadsheets, and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, and Slides) with an ability to use data to drive strategy and business.
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic, changing environments by working through ambiguity, solving problems, adapting to rapid change, and performing under pressure.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with ability to pay attention to detail, drive operational efficiency, process management, or program management.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage policy escalations from legal teams by driving consensus across all stakeholders. Develop post-mortems and implementations of preventative solutions, including working on tools engineering.
  • Review and manage escalations, including graphic, controversial, and offensive video content, in line with YouTube’s Community Guidelines.
  • Ensure that all escalations are triaged, tracked, investigated, resolved and communicated accurately using internal tools and systems. Manage or assist in conducting reviews to capture lessons-learned and ensure regular follow-up for any items identified.
  • Analyze, identify, prioritize, and deliver operational improvement opportunities. Identify, articulate, and quantify impact of required tool changes to deliver on these opportunities.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams such as Legal, Product, and GAPP to manage escalations and support regulatory operations.
