Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration or Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity; or 6 years with an advanced degree.
  • 4 years of experience in working with executive stakeholders.
  • Experience in spreadsheet modeling (e.g., agreements structures, detailed scenario forecasting, program performance tracking, market sizing, etc.)
  • Experience in presenting content outlines, slide creations, data visualizations, and deliveries to executive stakeholders.
  • Experience in project management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing projects across multiple functions and product area.
  • Experience in advertisement business models.
  • Knowledge of the YouTube ecosystem (e.g., viewers, creators, advertisers) and products.
  • Excellent investigative, thinking and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.

About the job

The YouTube Business Product Activation Team is responsible for bringing products to market and the market to products. The team works with both business and product leaders to scale adoption of YouTube products across the partner and creator ecosystem. The capabilities of the team include identifying and prioritizing product activation opportunities across the business, ensuring launch readiness, defining and driving execution on product activation across segments, understanding the needs of partners and creators to provide Product teams with market feedback and prioritization to shape product roadmaps, developing content strategy, and tracking performance.

In this role, you will be responsible for performance of the YouTube Partner Business program which spans TV, Film, News, Music, Kids, and Creator ecosystem partners. You will maintains the program architecture, develop go-to-market strategies, and support partner managers and YouTube Partner promoters to improve their promoting capabilities across the full suite of YouTube products (e.g., YouTube main, YouTube TV, Primetime Channels, etc).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000-$267,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Guide program managers and regional go-to-market specialists.
  • Set the strategy for the Partner Business team, manage and influence cross-functional executive stakeholders, and drive execution on product and business priorities.
  • Work cross-functionally with Content Partnerships, Product Managers, Finance, and more to shape Partner Business product strategy, craft go-to-market strategies, develop communications for new products and synthesize global market feedback.
  • Develop insights reports that highlight the user and partner issues and business opportunities that product should prioritize.
  • Present major program updates or decision points. Evaluate agreements and work on internal approval processes.
