Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution engineering, or technical consulting.
- Experience in system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
- Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in technical consulting or development roles working with other teams, customers, or partners, or ability to work with external relationships.
- Experience in internet products and technologies in either software engineering, product management, engineering program management, technical account management, sales engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with SQL and Python programming languages.
- Experience working with music operations or licensing teams.
- General knowledge of the music industry.
- Ability to communicate fluently in Spanish and Portuguese to engage with clients in the region.
About the job
As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.
You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.
The YouTube Partner Engineering team delivers premium support for products like YouTube Music. We provide robust solutions that help our entertainment, consumer device, and audience measurement partners maintain high product quality across our digital ecosystem, and collaborate with Partner Management to license music rights globally. We work with publishers, collection societies, and labels to ensure users can enjoy their favorite music on our platform. We build technical solutions to accelerate new product launches, advocate for best engineering practices, and develop infrastructure for rapid prototyping.
In this role, you'll ensure the success of YouTube Music's partnerships by leading deployments, optimizing implementations, and driving new business opportunities. You'll seek innovative solutions within the digital music space to build lasting partnerships. You'll lead cross-functional projects, strengthening strategic relationships with both traditional and emerging media partners worldwide.

Responsibilities
- Help the partner-facing team by developing the infrastructure in which they can build tools and systems to support the partners. Provide training, documentation and technical expertise to accelerate the development.
- Design, develop, and maintain the tools and systems required by the business and technical partner-facing teams to support partners. Identify, drive, and optimize the flow from business opportunities by leveraging YouTube technologies through prototyping and innovation.
- Perform implementation reviews, drive new product features and internal tools, and ensure the prompt resolution of technical issues.
- Improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering.
