Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of technology related sales, business development, channel sales, or partner management experience.
  • Experience working with public cloud technologies.
  • Experience working with solutions providers, system integrators, independent software vendors, or technology services companies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience building business partnerships with solutions providers, system integrators, or technology service providers; knowledge of cloud partner ecosystems.
  • Experience working with technology providers, solution providers, or systems integrators.
  • Experience presenting to executive-level audiences, including experience presenting at customer, partner, or industry events.
  • Experience with consumption business models, cloud economics, and partner agreement constructs.

The Security Partner team’s mission is to work internally across all the business and functional teams that interface with Google’s most strategically complex partners to help shape a cohesive cross-product area engagement strategy for Google.

As the Security Partner Manager, you will use knowledge of the market and expertise with partners combined with research and investigative abilities to embed Google’s Security suite of products with Partner’s existing go-to-market strategy. You will act as a thought leadership partner. You will challenge, advise, and support Business and Product teams to optimize our engagement strategy. You will immerse yourself in data collection, draw insight on macro trends and future market developments from analysis of the telecommunications industry, and then take a higher level view to develop compelling, synthesized recommendations. You will explore and uncover the business strategies of partners, and fully grasp how our range of product offerings complements and differs with theirs.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. We deliver enterprise-grade solutions that leverage Google’s cutting-edge technology, and tools that help developers build more sustainably. Responsibilities

  • Transform and streamline on-boarding process to ensure partner success and business impact.
  • Develop the Global strategy and Name Account List of Strategic Partners to pursue.
  • Develop and maintain Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) Partner Ecosystem including governance, and on-boarding.
  • Drive a business number, forecast accurately and operate globally for SecOps Products markets.
  • Lead partner supplier experience to ensure agreement integration includes negotiating, finalizing contracts, executing account plans, pitching to partners, resolving partner/supplier issues and advocating on behalf of partner.
