Field Sales Director, Enterprise, Google Cloud (English, Korean)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) sales leadership roles.
  • 10 years of experience selling cloud computing technologies to organizations.
  • 10 years of experience in sales leadership, managing a team and attracting and growing talent.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Korean fluently as it is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in English and Korean.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • Experience leading large-scale businesses, and ability to work with high levels of ambiguity and complexity as the business evolves.
  • Understanding of how various cloud technologies work together to drive deeper technology adoption within the existing large account base.
  • Ability to build a business or new market from scratch and see it through growth.
  • Ability to build a high performing sales team and build an excellent team culture.
  • Ability to grow/scale businesses, and develop long-term strategic relationships with accounts.

As the Field Sales Director, Google Cloud Korea, you'll drive the team to meet and exceed business growth goals while driving customer satisfaction. You will have an understanding of the technology of Google’s solutions in the cloud space, and bring an operational approach to recruiting, coaching, and managing your team. You will work with cross-functional teams, including partners, product sales groups, and product management to accelerate opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of field sales executives and sales managers to meet quarterly and annual bookings goals for the region by focusing on enterprise companies, with a constant march up-market.
  • Participate in C-level and executive engagements in support of sales teams’ account strategies. Understand customer demand and work with our product, solutions, and partners teams to develop the industry portfolio. 
  • Build and maintain relationships to influence long-term strategic direction. Act as a trusted advisor to customers.
  • Understand complex customer requirements on a business and technical level. Develop and provide custom presentations on Google Cloud products to customers to solve their business problems.
  • Collaborate with Google sales engineering and marketing resources, providing input on current collateral materials and ideas on how to improve them to maximize Google Cloud Platform. Achieve quarterly business growth goals.
