About the job

YouTube Biz Segment GTM is responsible for designing and delivering our service models for our Business Development, Creator and Consumer Success, and Partner Engineering teams to drive sustainable partner growth and customer lifetime value. The team will work closely with Business, Product and Marketing leaders to optimize impact and cost-to-serve across these partner and consumer segments. The core capabilities of the team include innovating and gaining alignment on our partner and consumer service models — who we serve, what service is provided to achieve growth, how the service is provided and incentivized — defining measures of success (impact, productivity, ROI), enabling change management with frontline teams and developing pilots to test new frontline models.

As a Strategic Partner Manager for YouTube you will drive YouTube adoption across the United Kingdom’s leading broadcasters and production companies. In this role, you will help partners like the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Independent Television (ITV), and Channel 4 optimize their reach and business through YouTube’s toolkit, including Shorts, Long-form, and Podcasts.
You will operate with significant autonomy, managing a portfolio by aligning partner goals with YouTube’s objectives. This involves leading execution from identifying opportunities and partnering agreements to track long-term business impact. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Global Living Room, Go-To-Market (GTM), Public Policy, and Legal teams to advocate for partner needs while shaping YouTube’s broader industry training and product rollout strategies.

At YouTube, we believe that everyone deserves to have a voice, and that the world is a better place when we listen, share, and build community through our stories. We work together to give everyone the power to share their story, explore what they love, and connect with one another in the process. Working at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and boundless creativity, we move at the speed of culture with a shared goal to show people the world. We explore new ideas, solve real problems, and have fun — and we do it all together.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end success of a MediaCo portfolio, acting as a lead advisor to Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Operating Officer (C-suite) stakeholders while aligning partner goals with YouTube’s long-term business objectives.
  • Lead the identification, negotiation, and execution of high-impact business agreements, translating broad industry issues into actionable tactical projects that drive measurable results for the Google ecosystem.
  • Serve as the external YouTube at industry events and workshops, elevating partner success through high-profile tentpole events and collaborations.
  • Drive seamless collaboration across Product, Legal, Go-To-Market (GTM), and Public Policy teams to navigate regulatory and operational landscapes, ensuring a unified approach to partner growth.
